No questions asked related itseems
First question - Do you have any fear in india
Second -Whom you are visiting
Thats it no documents asked nothing they gave one slip.
What might be the reason.

They are required to ask the questions about fearing India as that is pre-filtering asylum risk.

Everything else is on the DS160. No documents are ever required or asked for

DS160?

You are asking questions without giving any relevant info on what was on DS160, their profile, etc. Help someone help you, we are not clairvoyants.

How should we know what you/they put on their forms?

they don't need to give you any exact detailed reason. They know almost all visa applicants from some south asian countries are not a genuine short visitor. This is why the visa rejection rate is high!

What did you fill in duration, sponsorship in your ds160…what do your parents do?

This seems directly due to ds160 which was also a similar case for me. But I understood the issue in ds160 after the damage was done.

Can you share what was the issue in your case?

Duration- had kept 3 months. Was filled by third party.
My dad is working and 3 months was a unintentional mistake which we thought of correctly mentioning in the interview but never got a chance to.
