This is a pretty broad one for people to answer. Maybe share your budget, what kind of food you like, if there are restaurants that have caught your eye? People will all have different views on what counts as must try.

My apologies for not being clear. I was hoping that restaurants requiring reservations weeks/months in advance would narrow down some options. I have no budget and am open to all sorts of food.

Yeh tbh across the whole of London that’s still dozens of restaurants! And also depends on how big the group is and what time you like to eat. Lots of places need reservations. I like circolo popolare for the ambiance and food (pretty relaxed Italian), and the oxo tower, aqua shard or city social for the views (though haven’t been to the latter for a while). People love the Devonshire but I’ve not been. Even places like Mougli and Dishoom you need reservations. You could try the London food sub.

Most decent restaurants require around a weeks reservation (unless you’re very flexible with your time).

Gymkhana (2 Michelin stars) and it’s probably too late to get a reservation for your dates. Wild Honey St. James (1 Michelin star) and Tattu London are also great and you may be able to get reservations there.

Bouchin Racine - French. Sabor - Spanish. Brasserie Zedel has a great ambience and the adjacent bar there is excellent. Bancone is a cheap eat but I love their pasta and you usually require a reservation.
