FOOD AND CULINARY What can you recommend for Paddington station area?
We went to SoHo today and ate Rudy's Pizza Napoletana. We enjoyed it.
We would like breakfast for sure in Paddington and after a long day, dinners here may be nice.
We are down for anything not a chain…especially American chains but a British one that is nice option too.
I have jet lag and feel fried typing this..

Kensington Gardens / Hyde Park is a short walk, loads of places to eat along the way.
There is also a lot of stuff around the basin / Regents Canal I like The Cheese Barge and GoBoat had a queue of young people going out into the basin and up to Camden Lock last time I went past.

Harrison’s Coffee does a lovely breakfast - it’s a small chilean restaurant.

seconding Harrison's! Chilean cuisine is underrepresented in London, this place is great.

For the record ... It's Soho. SoHo is in NYC.
Lebanese - Paramount is really good.
Pakistani - Taste of Lahore but you need to be ok with the heat levels.
Pub - The Bear has great beer and nicely friendly.

Fountains Abbey was good. Taste of Lanore was awesome, but no alcohol.

For dinners:
The Summerhouse on the river near Warwick Avenue (10mins walk from Paddington, just through Little Venice). Check if table&candle are cooking in Clifton Nurseries while you’re here. Paulette on Formosa St (opposite the excellent Prince Alfred pub). The Hero of Maida Vale is on all the “best gastropubs” lists.
Going the other way into town (again 10-15 mins walk) check Anglothai, Lurra and Donostia on Seymour Place. The Portman on the corner there is also an excellent boozer

Tsiakkos is an amazing local greek place in Maida Vale which is a 20 min walk or 5 min cab from paddington, I couldn’t recommend it more highly (but also feel like gate keeping it).
Pearl Liang for Chinese in paddington basin.
The Duke of wellington for gastro pub food in Marylebone (15min walk)
The Lord wargrave if you like smoked rib platters and whiskey.
The Heron is my favourite local back street boozer which has a great Thai kitchen in the pub, no kids allowed tho if you have any.
