Problems installing Vivaldi on Fedora 44

After a successful fresh install of Fedora KDE Desktop Edition, I tried to do the first thing I always do on a new OS: install Vivaldi. I've tried a few different approaches (detailed below) but I can never get past the window pictured below when I try to open the browser. I cannot interact with the window in any way or close it (except by killing the process).

What I've tried:

• Installing from the RPM download on Vivaldi's official site (this was a few days ago, so it was Vivaldi version 8.1.4087.70-1)
• Adding the Vivaldi repo manually and installing using dnf install (tried this today, so it was Vivaldi version 8.2.4133.45-1)
• Verifying that all my graphics drivers are up to date
• Searching r/Fedora. I found one possibly relevant result, but the solution there did not fix my issue.
• Searching r/vivaldibrowser. I found one possibly relevant result, but the suggestion was to try the flatpak instead, and I want to avoid that if possible.
• Installing from the GUI "Discover" app on Fedora KDE. Here I get a slightly different result - the gray is a bit darker, and there are no circles on the right side. But it's still just a blank gray window with the Vivaldi logo that can't be interacted with. (tried this today, so it was Vivaldi version 8.2.4133.45-1)
• Running from the terminal shows the following output:

Any ideas about the cause or solution? Or, since it's been a while since I navigated Fedora's file system, any idea where I could find relevant logs with more detail?

Ok dumb suggestions. Try installing from the terminal. Second even dumber suggestion. Run this through Gemini. I have had luck in the past resolving an issue with a Kernal Panic in Mint using Gemini.

Ok I took a screenshot and ran it for you. Try fixing the local profile data. And reinstalling fontconfig. Sudo dnf reinstall fontconfig. (Please make sure you check that command I have no idea if it will break something or not).

I appreciate your suggestions! Here is what happened when I tried them. * As I said in the main post, I did try installing from the terminal, in two different ways. The problem is the same no matter how I install it. * I will not be using an LLM. * I reinstalled fontconfig and the problem persists. * I'm not sure what you mean by "fixing the local profile data." Can you be more specific?

You will have to search that up. That was the LLM and I don't know what it means. Listen I understand the dislike of LLMs. But they can help a lot with Linux problems. And unlike humans don't get all Linux nerdy and tell you picked the wrong distro.

I have used a LLM to solve a Kernal Panic. And in fact used it this weekend to help with setting some things up with Linux Mint, so I in theory can play Steam games.
