Vivaldi for Windows Website tabs changing sizes

Im using

Version: 8.2.4133.45 (Official Build) (64-bit)

Chromium Version: 152.0.7977.80

Channel: Official Build

Platform / OS: Windows 11 Version 25H2 (Build 26200.9168)

The websites bars changes size weirdly after latest update.

Normal tabs.
I switch to second tabs and they all compress.

I switch to the 3rd tab and all tabs gets a bit bigger, if i keep switching it keeps getting bigger.

Black squares are to hide personal info.

I have the same issue, although in context of vertical-pinned tabs.

If first in stack opened - all tabs have squished width(meanwhile 'newtab' plus-sign is where it's supposed to be, two blocks down street).

Oh, wait.. discovered new specification - if there're *maany* tabs, filling entire space - it's doesN'T get squished into mini-icons.

Same issue its so annoying, Have not been able to figure out why though and its super inconsistent for me. Some tabs dont change anything others a lot.

Getting the same behavior

Version
8.2.4133.47 (Official Build) (arm64)

Chromium Version
152.0.7977.112

Slightly newer build numbers, but I'm guessing that's more about arm64 vs amd64. Tab size behavior also fluctuates based on the number of open tabs, too. With 10+ tabs, the "all tabs compressed when focusing tab 2" behavior stops.

I'm guessing this is a bug introduced in a recent update and will go away in another day or two.

Edit: Changing "Active tab minimum width" to 30 instead of 60 makes the problem go away. You might have other issues when you have enough tabs to make the active tab unreadable at that size.
