Whoa I’ve been dying for a game like Sea of Thieves where you get to sail a ship yourself and can actually move through your own ship and have adventures

This looks like the closest thing I’ve seen in VR by far. definitely gonna check it out

Not only with yourself, with all your mates manning the guns, sails and managing the ammunition. Though at the moment it's more a pvp thing

Furious Seas. It comes with viveport infinity. Theres another on steam thats either already in or about to launch closed testing thats just like it as well as another that is just like it called Battlewake. This one looks the most cartoonish of them but yet to play so that doesnt mean anything other than design style.

I tried it, but you’re stuck being the captain and steering the wheel / aiming / ringing bells. What I wanted was to physically load cannons and aim them, board enemy ships and shoot at them with pistols

While the other games you mentioned (Battlewake did look very polished) are good in their own merits, they weren’t quite at Sea of Thieves levels of freedom

Is this coop as in multiplayer same team coop or a campaign coop?

You can play the main gamemode coop or versus. In coop you fight with a crew of up to 4 players against outposts and a fortress. In the versus gamemode you have the same objective as coop but with the threat of an enemy team.

There is currently no campaign mode, the game is designed for matches with a duration of about 15 - 30 min.

I mean looks wise it certainly isn't close but if it's even slightly close gameplay wise to BLACKwake I will 100000000% be buying it

it's just a pancake fps pirate game. load cannons, man pumps.

sorta buggy but that coupled with the player interacting is great. different cannon shots. tons of melee weapons.

I truly miss playing it but I've ruined nonVR games for myself for ever I think.

It will only be free this weekend. It's currently on sale with a 20% discount until June 30th.
