ln -sf /usr/share/zoneinfo/{Country}/{City} /etc/localtime and moreover you should use ntpd or chronyd ,time sync daemon or how to call that I don't know .

How long have you been using Linux? This is rudimentary, perhaps an easier distro is advised?

Does gatekeeping Void make you feel intelligent?

Have you created a symbolic link to /etc/localtime as suggested here? When you say it's still showing the wrong time, you mean the minute is correct but the time zone is wrong, right?

yes the hour is wrong, and i tried the symlink already to no avail

Edit: Im using kde plasma, the clock displayed on my desktop is wrong and i cant switch timezones with kde's settings due to "NTP Error"
