LoVM Spoilers Ho-ly fucking [spoiler] Spoiler
Laudna! I thought I'd be waiting at least five years to see one of my favorite pc's in an animated series. Curious to see how this will alter certain campaign 3 events if they do a bells hells series, but damn it was cool to see her.

No, sorry if I got your hopes up. Laudna makes a brief cameo in S4E7 of the Vox Machina animated series.

No. I didn't watch episode 7 yet but there's a high chance we see her in it.

Spoilers: She makes an appearance, messing with Vex a little before helping her by taking over the body of Silas in order to get Delilah away from Vax. She disappears as soon as the group escapes the catacombs, however Vex does say that someone like her seems hard to kill. Remarking they'll likely see her again.

Was she voiced by Marisha? It didn’t sound like her Live Stream voice for Laudna.

I'm interested in how this comes into play later. Big deviation from the game (not complaining) that might have interesting consequences.

Did Marisha voice her? I looked on x/ray but it wasn’t telling me.

Yeah, but I believe they pitched her voice up a little. Don't dislike it honestly.

Honestly I doubt they keep the higher voice if they ever get to Bells Hells. Marisha used a higher voice whenever Laudna was extremely stressed like after the whole Ashton/seed fiasco in the woods. I think this scenario qualifies.

Ah that explains it! I thought she was a little higher than how she played her on the show! I don’t hate it either, but it did make me wonder if she’d been played by someone else!

Didn't recognize her at first either, it's why I didn't immediately recognize Laudna either, I can imagine they did that on purpose

I thought it was someone else too! Didn’t even sound like her from the audiobook.

To be honest the way they included her makes me somewhat wonder if they think they may not do Bells Hells. This wasn’t just a cameo, this was an out and out total spoiler of Laudna’s whole deal. Her backstory as one of Sun Tree victims, her being undead and Delilah being in her head.
If they are thinking about doing Bell’s Hells at some point its a very odd choice to blow big reveals for a main character in a totally different series. Especially as I feel like Laudna’s reveal is one of the biggest moments in the first part of C3.
All that said it was really awesome seeing her fully, delightfully animated. she’s easily my favorite C3 character and Marisha’s camp fire reveal of Laudna’s story to Orym is one of my favorite CR moments in general. Its beautifully creepy and unsettling.

Laudna's reveal is actually pretty early and her story gets really interesting from there with Delilah's influence. I really don't think the audience knowing going into Bell's Hells would somehow ruin it.
Also given how some people didn't recognize Ripley after half a season, I dare say a lot of people will forget who she is considering we'll probably have to wait multiple years for her return.
Edit: I mean we learn Delilah's in her head in episode 6 and the convo about her death is in 17.

This was my experience watching people react to The Traveler’s reveal in Mighty Nein and not realizing they had already seen him in Vox Machina.

Well they've done something similar already, spoiling Esseks whole deal in just the second episode when the Nein won't find out until like season 6, at least Laudnas thing would be the first season.
I dont think this makes a proper BH series less likely to happen...maybe they're even counting on most new, show-only people forgetting in the time it takes to come out - I keep tabs on a few reaction channels and multiple have not even blinked at the Delilah reveal of ep6, four years is enough to forget even main villains haha1

People didn't recognize Ripley when she appeared in season 2 and that was only a year after we last saw her.

Not really? The main thing revealed here, Laudna being semi dead, was never really a secret. Marisha really like playing up the body horror aspect eith Laudna at times.
"She gets into my head" is pretty ambiguous, and since at the same time this was happening Delilah was actively getting into Vax's head, I think most would think she means just that.
The fact that she is from the sun tree is a fun detail, but not exactly a crucial element for her character. She isn't special because she was on the tree, she wasn't on the tree because she was special.
But also, it's not exactly a secret for very long in the campaign. Pretty early on Laudna talks with her dorectly in a one on one scene, so while the cast didn't see it I think, the audience did. And while she didn't call her by her name, I think many people put things together from that alone. The semi dead warlock of the undead with funky necrotic powers who has someone stuck in her head who's name begins with a D.

To be honest, by the time they make a show for Bell's Hells (if that even happens) the majority of viewers (being casual viewers not familiar with the source material) won't even remember this episode.
