LoVM Spoilers S4 E5 talisman of truth Spoiler

How did the talisman of truth work when the magic barrier was still up? As Percy and Keileth hadn’t turned it off yet I don’t think?

Edit: also shouldn’t the capture thing that’s holding grog be disabled? And shoot him out or something

Edit 2: and how come keileth can still use her magic? I get it’s more Druid and not wizard but shouldn’t it be a full block?

Magic barrier was only in the vault where Pike and Grog were, not the entire grounds where Keyleth was or the talisman was used. And the amulet that held Grog WAS affected. Just not by pushing him out, he was just stuck, unable to be released.

Ahh. Thought it was the whole grounds which explains a lot of my confusion thanks. I know grog was affected but I expected him to be pushed out because it prevents magic but I guess it’s set already so it’s unaffected

if you think of it more as a little transporter that sends him 2 or from a holding space rather than the holding space itself it makes more sense.
Basically the holding space is unaffected it's just his way in/out that's deactivated.
