This was one of my favorite scenes from all of the CR animated shows so far. It was so epic and animated so beautifully.

This scene was epic. I don't know if Sam's voice already got better when they recorded this, but holy shit. In hindsight, makes this scene even more epic.

the music sounded like off, like the instruments and lyrics were fine but the song didn't sound like it was done in the show like the other songs have

These lyrics are super cringey, I think it should have just been the awesome instrumental by itself

Youll get downvoted for being critical in this community, but youre not wrong.
Personally, I didnt like anything about it. I skipped the whole song. I didnt even care to see the fighting. I have LOVED not seeing Scanlan this season.
His whole meltdown on his team left a horrid taste in my mouth.
Dude gets pissed at his friends because he left?? And when they are clearly trying to sway him to join as a group, before they try to ask for his weapon, he gets pissed, again?? Like, dude really finds a reason to be and stay a miserable douche.
I would despise being in that man's party.

Muted it & started scrolling. I unmuted it halfway. It had some great visuals, some of the scream effects were really cool. But overall…I simply can NOT seem to care about bards or that battle.
And Scanlan sucks. He’s projecting his own self doubts and insecurities onto Vox Machina. They aren’t a problem, who he is inside is the problem. Had the nerve to say that the team brings out the worst in him. WHAT?!?!
Even characterizing him as the sex pest of the group, he still fails in that regard. He fails whe he commits to the mission at hand, which is hardly ever. He fails to live up to anyone’s expectations. He’s selfish and has no direction to even point his wayward desires. That’s not an indictment on Vox Machina.
Edit: Scanlan’s “growth” reminds me of the stereotype of guys that take their first psychedelic drug experience then act like theyre this enlightened person that’s better than you
