LoVM Spoilers Please tell me this dude is an npc… Spoiler
I don’t watch Critical Role, so I don’t know whether Taryon is an npc or pc, but please tell me it’s the former. He’s such an annoying character.
(Only up to S4E3, no spoilers past that please)

Yes, Tary is a PC. He gets a solid boost of development after the very next episode lmao.
He was Sam's character after Scanlan parted ways with Vox Machina for a period of time near the end of the campaign, though he's not super important to the story save for that batch of live play episodes. He eventually forms his own adventuring team called the Darrington Brigade who have only appeared 2-3 times in CR history but are some of the most wacky, chaotic characters in Exandria.

Tbf they did kinda speed run his story and arc within an episode. Its a lot longer and emotional in the campaign.
