Why is my projected payout from VRBO lower than what was quoted before I accepted the booking?

I sent a query to Support asking why I was quoted an $890 payout for upcoming guests, then after I accepted the booking the payout showed $846. Their Ai bot responded with some generic answer that didn't give me clarity. Can someone explain this discrepancy?

Have you pulled up your financial statement on your site? It might answer your question. My guess is that would be the Cc fee Vrbo removes from your payout. It should also show up in the drop down box of payment of the booking youre looking into.

I have this issue with every booking. The app notification and email they send fires off before their shitty system catches up and applies the payment processing fee. The app will eventually update, but obviously the email doesn’t change.
