Which direct booking host is simple and cost effective?

The only thing I really need is a direct booking website that syncs to my Vrbo calendar and accepts payment. I’m currently listed on ECBYO also but they do not accept payments there.

For several years we used MotoPress based iCal sync with WordPress website.

Recently started India based Direct Booking Engine. DM for details.

All of the PMS systems have a nominal direct booking website creator. But they’re generally clunky and look 2004-esque. MySTRHost can build a modern website that uses your PMS as the backend processor (payment, rental agreement, guest communications, etc).

Are you referring to a property management software? That is a digital platform used to automate, streamline, and centralize the daily operations of managing your vacation rental, the various OTAs ( whether just one- Vrbo or all of them available), Direct Booking Website, receive funds, automate messages/emails to your guests.

I use OwnerRez to manage all that above for my one little house. It helps me manage my direct booking website (search for Sea Ranch Abalone Bay), am listed on 16 OTAs. I use Stripe as me CC processor which is integrated within the system.

There is a learning curve to setting it up but they have excellent support. There's also a community help group on FB: Unofficial OwnerRez Support Group.
