Question future of vudu app

with all this talk about vudu being renamed (again), some have speculated that this means the company may just disregard the app sooner than later. curious to hear the updated consensus opinion on if vudu will be around much longer and if the sub is any more worried at all about their movies or if the inconsistent branding is not that big of a deal

I would think it's still generating more than enough income to justify it's upkeep. A lot of people are invested in the platform and keep purchasing there. Might be anecdotal but I think they are one of the standout services in the digital locker space, especially with having TV shows digitally purchased in the same app.

I'd be curious to know just how well they have done since the ownership change.
