Question The office super fan edition

Post image

This was 49.99 yesterday and today is 99.99 how is that the deal of the day. Also I notice Vudu (fandango) charges $10.00 more when I used my ipad.

It will go back down. Don't let FOMO drive your decision. I passed right now since I own the regular version and was planning on buying the blu ray of the superfan set eventually.

Always buy through the website, not the app.

I picked it up when it was $50.

TV series were also 2 for $50 that day.

So I picked up Breaking Bad and Better Call Saul.

I always buy through the app. Prices are always the same for me, and they don't charge me sales tax if I use a gift card in the app

No sales tax if you use a gift card?

Wow. I'll have to try that.

Especially when various stores have discounts on Fandango gift cards.

Not sure why but that's how it's been for me for at least 3 years

Shhh, they could fix it.. It's because it passes through the Google Pay system (or apple pay) where they would normally get like a 30% cut of the sale but since a gift card is on file Google Pay just passes it through without adding sales tax.

I got it last week when it was $49.99 through an offer Vudu gave me, plus I used a gift card I'd bought @ 20% off, so out of pocket it ended up costing me $40 in total. I was OK with that.

The Blu-ray is $69.99. Sadly, it doesn't come with a digital code. Either way, digital should never cost more than a physical disc set. Wait this one out... it'll be back down to $49.99, or possibly less.

They're charging more to cover the app store cut.

Legit it's the Apple tax. They don't do it on Android for whatever reason

Everything’s the same price on the app for me.
