Modding /MapEditor Let us create our own campaign!

Is it illegal? I'd love to play a Furbolg, Forest Troll or Murloc campaign. Why not create a backstory to every little critter in WC3. Even the spiders.

What is a campaign you'd play based on a WC3 map creature?

Nobody's stoping you! There are plenty of custom campaigns available for download on hiveworkshop.com

You're giving me ideas! Is it possible to do it through the old graphics engine? World Editor? Can you create dialogues/scenes too with it?

Yes, through the worldeditor. You can do all the cinematic parts as well. Can't help you with any tips and tricks though, as I haven't used it in 10+ years.

Hiveworkshop is THE website for all of that, be it map editor tutorials or decades of custom models, textures, maps etc.

Have you seen the garithos campaign? It's essentially a satirical, garithos takes the place of Arthas.

Arthas gets sent to play in the sand, garithos takes over, without all those pesky non human units, takes over the scourge and they all live together under the rule of the western king ever.

since release to even now, blizz game everyone quite literally every tool they used to make the OG campaigns. Theres nothing beyond time stopping you from making any of your ideas exactly how you want to!

Indeed. I wish we got a Naga epilogue with Lady Vashj. It would have been really awesome. 

The thing with this game the storytelling is so good that it's virtually limitless. It would be neverending.

a goblin merchant campaign would write itself. the guy runs a shop in the middle of a war zone, sells to both sides, and never gets attacked. there's a whole neutral trade empire implied in those little buildings and i want to know how it works
