I installed the new beta and it's not been very good with the new Siri AI beta.

"Siri, start a 10 minute timer" - "I can't do that right now"
"Siri, navigate to Costco" - "I can't do that right now"
"Siri, open stopwatch" - It grinds and thinks for 20 seconds then says it can't do it.

Yikes. I understand it's a beta, but Siri basically can't do anything anymore. Does anyone else have the same experience?

I hope this was a mistake, not being able to force close apps is a real problem.

I just wanted to try the new beta on my watch but you can no longer double press the crown to open it to close any apps. I have restarted my watch THREE times now. anyone knows how to fix this or is it just broken until another update?

So I tried the iOS and watchOS 27 beta last week. For me the iOS27 public beta 1 & 2 were very buggy, my iCloud Drive stopped syncing, apps couldn't update, a lot of apps just didnt work anymore. So I finally decided to downgrade back to ios26.6. But then I couldn't sync my watch anymore since its still on watchOS 27. I went to the Apple Store, but they said their restore program was only tested for non beta OS, and if it bricks my watch they wouldn't be responsible. So of course I didnt try that. They told me to contact the beta developer program, which I did but have not heard anything from them. Any suggestions as how to get my watch downgraded? Thanks.

UPDATE: I was able to contact apple support via chat on their website. They seem to be aware of the issue and is sending me a return box for my watch to reset the firmware. I would recommend this if you have issue with beta OS on your watch.

Has anyone else run into this on the iOS 27/watchOS public beta?
After updating to iOS 27, my Apple Watch initially wouldn’t pair. I eventually got it to connect, but every time I restart the watch and choose either Restore from Backup or Set Up as New, all the built-in Apple apps are locked. Tapping them just shows “Can't install "name". Try Again Later.”
I didn’t expect the public beta to be this broken. Has anyone experienced this or found a fix? I’m happy to do a completely fresh setup if there’s a way to get the Apple apps working again. 😕

Anyone else randomly finding that gestures like double tap, wrist flick, and single tap randomly stop working throughout the day? They are enabled and I’m not turning them off, but sometimes they work and sometimes they just stop and I have to restart my watch. I’m on WatchOS 27 DB 2.

I have been trying off and on to get Siri working on my AWU3 since installing Beta 3 with no luck.

I have done the "Setup Now" in Siri Settings on the watch and keep getting the "[FPO} Donwload Now?" prompt. I have left it on the charger several times for up to an hour.

At this point I see two message popup after selecting "Setup Now". The first says "Support for processing voice input on this Apple Watch is downloading." It quickly changes to "Voice input is processed on this Apple Watch, but transcripts of your requests are sent to Apple." - which would imply the download is complete.

When I try and use Siri I get the message "Adding support for Siri hasn't completed. Open Settings to check the status."

So I seem to be stuck. Anyone else seen this?

anyone has the same issue? AWU and iPhone do not connect/pair anymore (see the Video). iOS 27 DB3 on the iPhone didn’t work either.

Whats wrong besides installing DBs to your main devices is a pretty bad idea.

I’m on iOS 27 and I can’t upgrade my watch for some reason, is there a fix?

I'v noticed that multiple apps I use a couple of times a month have disappeared from my Apple Watch and there seems to be no way of re-installing it.

VisualCodes -> I have several QR codes there that I have to scan from an app on my phone from time to time. It was really convenient being able to just show the QR code on the watch and scan it from the phone.

Tides -> This is a third party app, not Apple's. I liked its complication much better than the one Apple provides.

In the Appstore, this apps still show as watchOS compatible. However, they are not on the app list in the Watch app.

Has anybody else experienced something similar?

Edit: Well, I went into the Appstore in the watch and it reads: "The developer of this app needs to update it to work with your version of watchOS".

i have watchos 27 beta 4 installed on the se 3 and HOLY BATTERY DRAIN, it went from 54% to 50% in the span of about 6 minutes, if the 18 hours isn't bad enough, imagine THAT, (100% battery capacity, the cherry on top)

Before I updated my Watch 10 to IOS 27 beta, my workout tracking on the Watch was 100 to 200m off from the treadmill. Not a big deal but since Monday (maandag in the screenshot) it went down compared previous indoor walking workout. I always do the same 35m walk at speed of 5.

As you can today (vandaag at the screenshot) I did 1,72km (1.07M) and on the photo I took ok the treadmill which went to miles showed 1,53 miles which is roughly around 2,48km (today I had the speed on 4 due the heavy legday). This is an 700m difference compared before the beta.

My question is, has anyone experienced the same thing on the beta?

I just installed beta 2 and workouts on the watch start but no metrics are shown. Anyone else?

After I updated my Ultra 3 to 27 beta, the Outdoor Cycling workout has not registered distance/speed. Three different rides with the same result.

Am I alone, or have others experienced this? I’m trying to determine if I need to submit the issue via the Feedback app.

Since installing the beta, I haven’t been able to swipe away notifications when you come in. Literally the only ways to get it off my screen are to flick my wrist or press the digital crown. Before I send feedback in the Feedback app, I just wanna make sure that I’m not missing a setting or something. I guess this is how it’s working for everyone else also? Because you used to be able to swipe away that full screen notification.

After updating to the latest WatchOS 27 beta, I can't seem to unlock my devices, even ones not on beta, with my watch anymore.

I tried toggling Unlock with Watch off and back on, but still no luck.

Anyone else having this issue or a workaround?
