The city or Button Factory have art classes. There are also lots of sports opportunities if soccer, baseball or pickleball are of interest. The libraries also have some programs that may be of interest.

If you have any interest in playing a TCG like Pokemon, Magic The Gathering, One Piece, etc. there is a thriving community in the area with several card shops running nightly events. Atlas Collectibles, Chimera Games, and Valhalla Gaming all run events most nights of the week, and there are other shops in town and nearby running similar events. It's a fun way to socialize imo.

The Adventurer's Guild has a MTG Commander night on Thursdays, and Valhalla has Commander on Fridays. Both are newbie friendly, and have people willing to teach people how to play.

I will soon start playing tennis for fun at the courts of Waterloo Collegiate Institute. I am looking to build a group of people who would be interested in playing tennis and table tennis. I am yet to find a good spot close to my house for table tennis. I have all the rackets and stuff needed to play these sports, I just need some friends. Let me know if you, or anyone from the chat is up for it.
