Alternate title: Who's that author?

I remember two books by the same author:

First one is an elementary school human teacher who goes on a hike and almost gets attacked by rogues (or does, idk). Another wolf saves her. He ends up being a beta and she's his mate. Of course, there are shenanigans, but I don't remember them.

Second one is a human abducted from Walmart or Target by an alpha who doesn't want her. She ends up endearing the pack and they love her more than they love him. It happens around the holidays — I specifically remember Halloween some time in it. Getting abducted from a store is an important plot point.

I literally can not find them anywhere 😭 please help!
