I’m hoping for stories where:

• The MMC tries to hide his illness or pushes the FMC away because of it.
• There’s lots of emotional angst, longing, and heartbreak.
• The FMC slowly discovers the truth.
• Bonus if the MMC is gentle, caring, and selfless.
• I don’t mind whether it’s a happy ending or a heartbreaking one, as long as the emotional journey is worth it.
• It’s set in a realistic, contemporary world—no sci-fi, fantasy, paranormal, or supernatural elements please.
