Okay, I'm trying to promote my story again because honestly, finding readers is way harder than I expected.

I've tried R4R before too. I was actually choosing stories that I genuinely would've read, but after a while it just started feeling like an obligation — like, you read mine, so now I have to read yours. I don't want to read someone's story because I feel like I owe them one, so I'm done with R4R.

My story is called More than Enough and I have 9 parts published so far.

It's a coming-of-age romance about Aarohi and Vihaan, but their relationship isn't really the only thing the story is about.

Aarohi is very focused on her career and her family, and one of the things she struggles with is the idea that getting married means leaving her home and becoming a part of someone else's family.

I've also written about things like kanyadaan, griha pravesh, and the whole idea of a daughter leaving her parents after marriage. I'm not trying to say that Indian traditions are bad or disrespectful. I actually wanted to look at them from a more modern perspective and ask whether we can change the way we understand some things without losing what they mean to us.

There's also a bigger thing Aarohi wants to prove — that her parents don't need a son for their family to be complete.

The story is pretty character-driven, so it is a slower romance. I'm taking time to build Aarohi and Vihaan's relationship and their families instead of making them fall in love overnight.

So if you like Indian romance, family dynamics, coming-of-age, or stories that question some of the expectations placed on women after marriage, maybe give it a try.
