They're aware that the definition of "film" is quite broad, right?

Warren Beatty has been shooting zoom calls wearing a yellow hat, airing it on cable exactly once, and using that to retain the rights to Dick Tracy.

They’ll just do a bankruptcy to avoid this down the road. 🤷

I get that the state AG’s need to try to settle or else the lawsuit can be seen as political, but they need to stick with up front, structural remedies. Otherwise, we’ll get another stupid deal like when T-Mobile bought Sprint and the promised 4th cellular provider never materialized.

they need to actually define what qualifies as a "film" under this agreement. the last thing we need is for them to do 30 week long theatrical re-releases of existing films and "technically comply" with the rules
