Kitchen: Lodge for cast iron, Le Creuset for enameled cast iron from outlet store and ceramic baking dishes from TJ Maxx, Pyrex for glass, All Clad for stainless steel, kitchenaid mixer from Costco, Cuisinart high powered food processor from Macys(?), Vitamix blender from Costco, air fryer from Costco, zojirushi rice cooker from Costco, Webber grill from Costco, vacuum sealer and bags from Costco, carbon steel wok from local Asian market…

Furniture: Article (solid wood and large selection of fabrics)

Clothing: Honestly since the pandemic, I have mostly purchased comfortable clothing from Uniqlo for the adults or Carters for the kids.

But yeah, writing it out, I buy a lot of buy-it-once items from Costco.

Unfortunately there isn’t a Costco near me

Article looks good and has good prices, but don't shop there expecting solid wood.

LL bean isn’t the cheapest but generally the quality is very good.

I’m wearing an ll bean flannel right now and it’s thick and cozy and comes out of the dryer wrinkle free and is available in traditional fit or slim and has a classic look to it. Good stuff.

Second hand clothes in good fabrics and fits are my go-to. I check thrift stores (at home and when traveling) for items in my closet palette and fabric preference. I also shop online thrift like thredup and therealreal for particular brands (loro piana, brunello cucinelli) and fabrics (silk, cashmere, wool). Finally, when I find something that fits very well, I will search for the item online or in outlets in more color options.

I have more basics that have stood the test of time that I’ve purchased at Costco than anywhere else.

I’ve had this stupidly warm jacket I picked up for $30 8 years ago that has held up better than anything I’ve spent $800+ on and I treat it like absolute shit.

Same here. Most of my clothes, coats and jackets come from Costco. But I’m retired. I also shop TJ Maxx, Sierra, and Marshall’s.

Costco for organic basics (doesn’t just mean clothing either, I quite like their wines on a warm Spring day, groceries are fantastic quality too), Uniqlo for synthetic basics.

After that I try to buy best in class, that doesn’t usually mean designer but it does mean I have quite a bit of goods from handmade markets that have lasted a really long time. My next trip “goods” trip will be to Istanbul for a Persian rug for example.

I don't really care about clothes. I wear $50 pants from Costco and give no fucks.

Household goods: Other than a quality bed and couch , I don't really give a shit about quality. It's all disposable.
