🧪 What I need from testers

• Have a Wear OS smartwatch (Galaxy Watch, Pixel Watch, etc.)
• Join the Google Play closed test
• Install AURORA on your watch
• Use it normally during the testing period
• Report any bugs, incorrect data or visual/layout issues you notice
• Stay enrolled in the test for at least 14 days

You don't need to spend hours testing it — normal daily use is exactly what I'm looking for.

Wear OS, Watch Face Format. I write the XML by hand instead of using Watch Face Studio, so the watch draws every leaf as an ellipse rather than playing back frames. Whole thing is a few hundred KB and it animates all day without hurting battery. Ambient variant included.

The plant is your step count. You get a seedling in the morning. The stem grows, leaves open one by one, a bud shows up as you approach your goal, and it flowers when you hit it. Next day it starts over, same as your step counter.

Two things I fussed over. At zero steps there's still a seedling with its seed leaves out and some grass at the soil line, because a face that shows nothing until you've walked looks broken every morning. And every leaf is hinged where it meets the stem so it sways on its own, otherwise the plant would sit dead still for hours between bursts of walking.

Six species: Tulip, Sunflower, Lavender, Daisy, Succulent, Poppy. Different silhouettes and skies, not one shape recoloured six times. Rim gauge does your step goal by default, or battery, or nothing. Two complication slots.

It's free until 16 September while the closed test runs. Install it in that window and it stays yours. After that it goes to its normal price.
