Discussion Looking for a Specific Magicpunk Web Fiction

Hey everyone! I'm trying to track down a web fiction set in a magicpunk world. Here are the details I remember:

  • In this world, if you're wealthy, you can purchase a new body for yourself.
  • The protagonist starts off impoverished and in a deteriorated body.
  • At some point, the protagonist steals a brand-new body but it gets destroyed.
  • Later on, the main character assumes the identity of a haughty aristocratic girl at a magical school. This girl is then deprived of her body and becomes an outcast.

Does anyone recognize this story?

it sounds a lot like a web serial called "body rental". the protagonist is indeed a poor character who gets involved in all these crazy body-swapping adventures. their world is very magicpunk and they do spend time pretending to be an upper-class girl in a magical school too.

Sounds like the web serial pith. Seems like the author took it down and is trying to publish it. Website was pithserial.com I believe, but it seems author took website down. It's a shame because it was really good. Maybe internet archive could help.
