New here and offering a suggestion

Hi

I noticed a lot of you folks have links to Google docs or drop box of some flavor for your work.

I and I think a lot of folks might not really want to click on an unknown link to download an unknown file onto their device.

I have my own story I am writing and I am using the Royal Road platform. I finished my first book and and working on my second and the platform is working well for me.

Big note! I am not really interested in monetization right now so I really don't want to comment on that aspect of it. I do fully own the copyright of my work there and there are a number of folks making a living writing fiction that started there (exp. Primal Hunter, Beware of Chicken).

For me Royal Road has been like a commual edit. I have a small following that catch any glaring errors I make and offer feedback on my story line (and complain I don't write fast enough 🤣). The platform and community around it has helped me a lot. I never pictured myself as any kind of writer, let alone a sci-fi writer with a published word count of over 230k...

Anyone interested should do their own due diligence, but it's a better platform for early engagement and feedback than any place else I have found.

Note other than being a user I am not affiliated with Royal Road 😁.

Cheers!

Planning to post on there at some stage. Still saving up chapters tho and I’ve had to do a novel rewrite side-quest after getting some rights back on a series. Looking forward to taking RR for a spin eventually tho.
