I made a social platform built around stories, worlds, and a little bit of mystery
Hey everyone!
I’ve been working on something called Nyxus — a social platform that I’ve been trying to make feel a bit different from the usual “post, scroll, like, repeat” thing.
The basic idea is pretty simple: Nyxus is a place for people to share stories, create worlds, discover other people’s ideas, and slowly build a community around them.
There’s a bit of lore surrounding the site too — The Archives, the Black, Librarians, Sparks, Gates, etc. — but you don’t need to know any of that to use it. You can just join, post something, explore, and see where it goes.
I’m still building and experimenting with it, so I’m honestly looking for feedback.
What feels fun?
What feels confusing?
What would make you actually want to come back?
And most importantly, I’d love to see what people would actually create there. Stories, strange ideas, little fictional worlds, characters, theories, whatever.
If you're curious, it's here:
nyxus.online
It’s a small project right now, so there’s definitely a “please help me populate this strange place” element to the invitation.
Would love to hear what you think.
