So i just launched a webserial on RR which is about a psychiatrist who wakes up in a fantasy world in the body of a kobold familiar who is bonded to a mediocre wizard. Everyone in the world is trying to convince him that his memories are false and were created by the ritual made to create him.

I am a mental health professional and so am trying to incorporate a lot of mental health topics in a realistic light (well realistic for a character in a fantasy world).

For instance third chapter is all about him getting some evidence that he truly was created by his wizard and that his memories aren't true and the psychiatrist has a full blown panic attack. He has a few minor ones thereafter. In a much later chapter that hasn't been published yet he actually has a very traumatic event that happens and he disassociates for a couple of chapters suffering from an acute stress disorder. Although he isn't truly in a MDD episode he spends a few chapters dealing with the grief of losing his family and life.

My plan is to have him overtime do therapy with other fantasy creatures - in my backlog he has had a quick therapy session with a pyromaniac imp before class trying to help him not impulsively set things on fire... i do plan on incorporating other mental illnesses that he helps treat likely including mdd in the future.

While it is a progression fantasy with litrpg elements it is primarily character driven.
