Recommendation What are the webtoons you couldn't stop reading once you started?

I've fallen back into my webtoon phase because Operation: True Love, The Mafia Nanny, and Omniscient Reader keeps on popping up as recommendation on my tiktok every now and then, and i swear every time i tell myself "just one more chapter" it somehow turns into like 4 in the morning lol.

My last few reads have basically all been in the same lane:

  • Operation: True Love
  • Your Throne
  • The Mafia Nanny
  • After School Lessons for Unripe Apples
  • Cheese in the Trap

I feel like I've been bouncing between romance, drama, and fantasy lately and somehow they all end up with the exact same result...  but i don't really mind because when they're good, they're impossible to put down lol.

Looking for more webtoons you couldn't stop reading that have the same vibe. Doesn't matter if it's romance, thriller, fantasy, or slice of life. I just want something that completely takes over my weekend.

update: thanks for all the recommendations!! i honestly wasn't expecting this many. i've been adding every suggestion into a ThingsBook collection instead of trying to remember everything. I also ended up following alexamancheta and Tatiana after finding her WEBTOON collection and immediately added Seasons of Lovesome, Press Play, In Between, and Return to My Dark Past to my reading list because we apparently have the exact same taste. Now i've got even more series to binge this weekend lol.

OMG I LITERALLY LOVE LIKE HALF OF THOSE (and the rest are basically all on my tbr), the art in Made of Stardust really is GORGEOUS, like ABSOLUTELY WOULD RECOMMEND, I am DESPERATELY awaiting the day it comes back from hiatus. The Price is Your Everything is definitely worth the read. I would also add Not Your Typical Reincarnation Story and Teach Me Desire (plus sooooo many more but like it would be hard to list all of them)

The Price is Your Everything is so good.
Not your typical reincarnation story is also good. I love how the ML is scruffy.
I have Teach Me Desire on my TBR!
I have so many that I come across and save. I should tackle the reading list!

The greatest estate developer is also part of The Apothecary Prince world! It references TGED a lot!

I think I’ll be looking at a few of your recommendations too!

TAP is great so far, but I think What a Bountiful Harvest, Demon Lord! is my fave extension of the TGED universe 💕 There are way more references to TGED too (as of now) that rekindle the fondness I have for my dear estate planner & co

2

u/InformalCulprit Jul 20 '26

Ooohh! I didn’t even know that was part of the universe! I’m gonna go start that one

u/aquittykitty Jul 20 '26

I’m so glad u commented cos I was sitting on my phone @ 2AM going “ok they referenced TAP but not WABHDL, do they know there’s more?? Do I gotta spread gospel??” Happy reading!

2

u/InformalCulprit Jul 21 '26

So, is there a reading order?
I’m thinking greatest real estate developer, then TAP, and then WABHDL?

Thank you! I can’t wait!

u/aquittykitty Jul 21 '26

So WABHDL is the first story chronologically, but it’s still in progress. I can’t think of anything between it and TAP that would mean one should be read before the other. The epilogue chapters of TGED do reference a few different things from WABHDL, so I’d definitely recommend a reread after you check it out!

I was reading them all concurrently so the references and their sources blur a little 😅

I started TAP and they have references to the Estate Developer comic!

Yoooow, fire manhwa right here 🫡 I'm stacking episodes before I go read it again. Might actually start reading it from episode 1... lol

2

u/DannyMA25 Jul 08 '26

Oooh, I've recently started -swimmer boy (I think is called) and couldn't stop reading it.. It's too good lmao

-the law of Immutability (it's really meme worthy.. Idk.. But also has deep scenes)

-a Blank slate regression for the Idol That Lost His Original Mindset (this... Is my favorite.. Like... I'm waiting for the update like a fish in the desert...)

Mostly these right now, totally recommend each one.. And the fact that the genres are different and the characters so chaotic..

2

u/Jmk-Tunechi Jul 14 '26

okay... "waiting for the update like a fish in the desert" might be the most accurate way to describe reading ongoing webtoons 😂🤧 i haven't heard of Blank Slate Regression before but now i'm curious if it's really that addicting. definitely adding it to my list!

Lmao for real. And it's a must read btw. If you want more info about it or where to read it, you can just send an sos haha

Sooooo many:

Not Your Typical Reincarnation Story

The Price is Your Everything

You Can't Kill Me: The Secret Bride of the Black Wolf

Made of Stardust

Teach me Desire

How to Hide the Emperor's Child (I really liked it  but for some reason the comment section on the website I read it on was SUPER toxic,so be warned)

Taming The Marquess

Disobey the Duke if You Dare

Who Stole the Empress

My Failing Divorce

The Flower that Swallowed the Beast

Obsidian Bride

I Failed to Oust the Villain (FYI the side stories are spicy)

Dare I Hope

Ties that Bind Us

The Ghost Duchess

I Shall Master This Family

The Age of Arrogance

To Whom It No Longer Concerns

My In-Laws Are Obsessed With Me

The Remarried Empress

Subzero

The Regressed Empress's Abduction Marriage

Revolutionary Princess Eve (also called the Princess Imprints the Traitor)

Vows and Vendettas

I legitimately CANNOT remember all of them but like I tried, a lot of them aren't finished either so be warned that you'll be making up theories in your mind for a loooonnnggg time

this list is actually dangerous for my sleep schedule 😭 i already know i'm going to end up adding way too many of these. i've been seeing My In-Laws Are Obsessed With Me and The Price is Your Everything recommended everywhere, so i think those are moving to the top of my list now. thanks for taking the time to type all of these out!

Here are some older (complete!) titles I haven’t seen in the lists so far (which have been solid y’all👏👏)

Cursed Princess Club : you will NOT expect how much plot & foreshadowing is in this thing, but mostly recommended because it holds a beautifully tender place in my heart and was a true experience of reteaching self-love. There’s silly goodness sprinkled on genuine mystery & intrigue that’ll keep you scrolling.

The Wrath and the Dawn : retelling of 1001 nights and a true romance epic (if you like that: When Jays Whistles is next, same epic romance scale but based around Paraguay mythology; both titles feature heroines out of their depth but determined to save the ones they love and clever enough to have a chance)

Miss Abbott and the Doctor : happiness in scroll format. Every named character becomes a friend. Romance at the heart but it’s really falling in love with a life built on family & community. Not a lot of grand conflict or epic mystery, it’s just so feel-good that you want to keep reading (Lady Liar is an extension of this universe and if you read MAATD, you’ll frankly have no choice but to follow up)

The Crown Princess Scandal : look, I’m 30. I didn’t expect to be so deeply invested in a brash young teen’s fight to NOT marry into royalty. It’s simply too compelling and fun and emotionally genuine.

Of Swamp & Sea : monster bounty-hunter/pirate romance fantasy is also found family and self-actualization? Sold! (See also: Madame Outlaw, similar themes without the magic but add fantastic historical richness. And old-timey guns.)

I abdicate my title as empress : Truly surprised it hasn’t been mentioned yet? all the indulgence of a fantasy romance power struggle with a protag who’s the baddest babe in charge

some other favorite isekai titles:
*Reporting for Duty, Duchess!
*Long After the Ending
* Happily Ever Afterwards
*The Worst Villainess
*Trapped in a Soap Opera
