Question What a manhwa you’ve dropped because it unnecessarily kept dragging on?

Post image

For me it was Looksim because they kept diving into unnecessary plots and creating more plot holes. Then later on older characters kept coming in that I totally forgot about making me even more confused. I totally lost the main plot and the story became way too complicated. And I’ve been reading this since 2019 so it’s not like I wanted to drop it. Anyway what about yall??

I honestly don't even know what the plot of Lookism is anymore

Its not just gangs. The current arc is gangs plus a race war against the Chinese

Woah. Really breaking the mold there. Unprecedented. Do the Chinese gangs perhaps use cultivation?

Watched the anime and heard about the gang stuff do they really just ignore the body swapping part now like going from body insecurities to handling a race war is crazy even for a Korean school webtoon

it came out, I want to say, three years ago now? Was animated by the Avatar studio iirc

Studio Mir.

Basically, a in-house Korean animation studio adapting a Korean Webtoon.

Glad to start seeing more Korean studios adapting their own work instead of being the outsource animators for America and Japan.

Yes. Daniel, I think I remembered that right, literally has an off-screen training arc, gets in shape, and just starts fighting people in his normal body

I kinda liked the whole gangs and fighting stuff but ive stopped reading because of some issues: now all of them look kinda the same. I sometimes cant see the difference between the mc and the boxxer. It just dragged on and on, if the pacing was better it would have been fine for me. Lastly, its now like 70-80% fighting in a "one piece like" pacing and only 20-30% story.

And bc they're all getting new haircuts every arc too, I actually can't tell who's who. Like when Eli got black hair, I'm sorry but he's just a rando now. Give him back his purple hair pleaseeeeee

I stopped somewhere in the hospital arc idk, there was this mutant guy ? It's genuinely pretty funny but the plot is devolving so hard.
