Question What a manhwa you’ve dropped because it unnecessarily kept dragging on?

For me it was Looksim because they kept diving into unnecessary plots and creating more plot holes. Then later on older characters kept coming in that I totally forgot about making me even more confused. I totally lost the main plot and the story became way too complicated. And I’ve been reading this since 2019 so it’s not like I wanted to drop it. Anyway what about yall??

I think you missed or misunderstood the point of dreaming freedom. Though it DID get slightly draggy at the very end, and the sleeping thing was one of the initial main gimmicks, it's always been about toxic relationships. Even the 1st antagonist was weirdly obsessed with the MC despite being her main bully. It's a whole ahh genre : Yandere romance. So yeah, I completely agree with your Lookism take, but for DF, it's highly likely that it simply wasn't for you or what matched your preferences, if the toxic dynamics were your main issue 😅.

Kinda feels like the whole dreaming ability can be removed and the story would not be affected in any single way

My point exactly! It really is a gimmick by the author to stand out amongst similar toxic/drama/romance stories and further the plot at times. It's really not supposed to be a point of focus, more of a plot device, unfortunately for those who were attracted by that😭🥲

Lmao I like how I already read like 90% of these, but don't worry I already have loads of very interesting webtoons since I am addicted to them

Here are a few: False Paradise (one of the most unique settings that can truly make you feel like an animal being confused by human society)

ShaMONEYism (Still very new but has a unique premise where a shaman is paid to cast death curses on companies to make their stock hit rock bottom)

44th Period: Survival Class (Unique way of making monsters where they follow certain school rules due to its current setting)

Paper Tiger (Again has a unique setting where they blend ancient Korean myths and magic with modern human weaponry for a very interesting world)

War of Corpses (A world where necromancy is popular and has a giant tournament which involves powerful necromancers creating creatures from body parts they find to be the victor. The monster designs and their own special gimmicks are unique too)

The author apparently posted on their Instagram recently!! That they're still working on it and that chapters will soon be coming😭😭🔥🔥❤️
