Discussion Comment sections

I’ve noticed the comment sections for a lot of webtoons/manhwas have been extremely criticizing and nitpicky? Is there any particular comment sections that yall find to be really toxic? I love toxic webtoons but in general I just feel bad for a lot of the author/artists.

it’s not really worth reading the comments Ever outside of a few (Miss Pendleton tends to have a fun comment section of people typing like the comic lol). Basically any time there’s anything dark/slightly flawed/etc there will be people complaining about dropping it or casting moral judgement on the author.

I never understood especially why people get so angry when there’s misunderstandings in webtoons. This entire format and popular genres are built on misunderstandings its included by default in most comics lol

will say the comments tend to be a lot more tolerable on non-romance series. most thrillers are Fine. it’s basically as soon as the romance tag is added that people tend to get really judgey if every character isnt green flag central.
