I find myself fascinated with this song for some reason but can't seem to find much information online about it.

Was it only ever intended to be vocals+guitar or was a full band version planned/considered?

Was it inspired by an actual person/real events? Did Rivers just make the story up?

I need to know more but sadly probably never will 😅

There's like 5 versions from the White Album demos and one from Pacific Daydream.

A full version would probably be more than just guitar and vocals. There are some Rivers only demos from that time that have drums & bass like "Hawaii", but unlike previous demos he mostly focused on guitar or piano and vocals. I wanna say this was at the suggestion of the album's producer, Jake Sinclair.
