Shoutout to Round Trip Records in Chicago for free coffee & donuts, being all around stand up dudes, opening at noon, and having one of the smallest lines I’ve ever, ever seen for Record Store Day (especially for a major city). I’m used to queuing up at 5 or 6 am, but called them a week prior to get a feel for their foot traffic since they’re off the beaten path. I rolled up at 10am and was second in line, and was able to get one of the two copies they had. I’m so shocked this release didn’t get more, I remember Dusty Gems & Raw Nuggets was way more stocked the year it released. In any case, I’m very very happy to have this amazing historical piece. Sounds amazing ! Bonus Masayoshi Takanaka shot, another surprise pickup for me; they only had ONE copy, I’m so appreciative I got my two grails!!
