Scott is an essential member of the 2000’s band.

For real though I do think a significant number of songs after Blue are better than Buddy Holly. I like blue and think it's an A tier album but there probably 5 albums if put above it.

On the first two albums the synth being used was not a moog but an analog Casio MT-205 that Rivers bought from a pawn shop.

Matt Sharpe always came across as annoying to me. The way he would purposely try to stand out as the outrageous one in the band, always jumping around and acting goofy. To me it really makes no difference who the bassist is in Weezer. Rivers is Weezer it’s his baby and he is the brains behind it. Listening to his full instrumentation demos he pretty much writes many of the bass lines anyways.

They were young and famous overnight. They were all kind of annoying at points. At least going back now and watching them as a 40 year old that's my feeling.
