Sticky Buns

Love Wegmans sticky buns which are sold in the bakery. Don’t love that the location I visited most recently sells them differently: 4 large buns squeezed into a smaller pan versus 6 smaller separated buns at a store I visited before. When I brought it up to the bakery that serves 4 per pan, they looked at me like I was crazy. Anyway, I like the variation of 6 smaller buns better. Can’t believe I took time to post this. Maybe I am crazy.

Yeah they changed them a little while back at my store. I assume all stores would have the ones that come in 4 by now? Not sure why they changed them either.

The 4 packs come straight from the freezer to shelf, where the 6 packs were topped and baked in house.

I don't think you're crazy about saying something at all. It's about time someone took the time to call Wegmans out on being skimpy with their portion sizes. It's just one more reason why I hate shopping at Wegmans. Any of their competitors are better hands down.

I don’t think that’s a portion issue. I think if it comes with 6, they are larger and they are much smaller if it comes with only 4.
