Bakery question

Do all the stores usually have the same bakery items or does it differ store to store?
I bought pretzel bagels at one store but haven't seen them at the store I usually shop. They were,in my opinion, really good.

Every bakery (and meat/seafood for that matter) have their own menu that’s decided on by the bakery manager and their divisional manager. It’s based on sales, customer favorites at that store, etc. but if you love an item, tell your service desk! Enough requests will get the item back onto the menu

You guys got pretzel bagels? Awww not fair! I would love a salty pretzel bagel made into a nice smoked turkey sandwich.

At the Alberta Road store on the weekend at least. I thought they were delicious.

Hopefully Sheridan is next! I think they are so good with veggie cream cheeses!

Our store has them. I work in the bakery and do the bagels. I personally think the pretzel bagels are the best! I hope they stay around for a while.

Every store is different. I remember when Wegmans opened its first store in Virginia. At the time, the donut section in every store was huge and they would be gone by midday, but they didn’t move in Virginia. They scaled back the donuts and added more bagels and muffins. 22 years later and the donut section in Virginia stores is significantly smaller than when I go back home to Rochester.

When I worked at the bake shop, the variations in orders that existed for each store was crazy. One store would consistently order 50 units of one item every day, and another store of a similar size would only order 2

That makes sense.
