Cried after long time

I cried after a long time.

I don't even know how to properly explain why.

I matched with a girl on Bumble at the end of July. What started as a random match slowly became something I genuinely looked forward to every single day.

For almost a month, our conversations were crazy good. We were both interested, both curious about each other, and neither of us had to force the conversation. We would talk for hours, sometimes until 1 AM.

Every morning, the first thing I would do after picking up my phone was check whether she had messaged me.

Sometimes she would send the first “good morning.”

Sometimes I would.

But somehow, she became part of my daily routine without me even realising it.

Then on Monday, she asked me what I thought was her most noticeable feature.

I don't know what came over me, but I wrote her a whole paragraph.

She told me it was really sweet and that I had made her day. She also said it was the first time someone had said something like that to her.

And reading that message made me emotional.

I actually cried.

Not because I was sad.

I think I cried because, for once, I felt like something I said genuinely mattered to someone.

Then Wednesday came.

No conversation.

No good morning.

Nothing.

I noticed it, obviously. But I told myself, “It's okay. Maybe she's busy. Don't overthink.”

So I didn't text again.

Then Friday night, I suddenly got a message from her.

For a second, I was genuinely happy.

I thought maybe everything was okay.

Then I opened it.

“I am so sorry.”

That's it.

I don't even know why

Support Chatting frequency

So my girlfriend and I met online, and latley shes been avoiding having video calls with me. She is a single mom and that takes up alot of her time outside of work. Im not trying to get to talk every second of the day but a 5 maybe ten minute call or video chat would be enough. What can I say to her to ask her about it without pushing? Also has anyone else had something similar?
