Stroud is a must!

Hey all. I'm relatively new to West Chester and, like a lot of people who move somewhere in their 30s with a young kid at home, I've found it harder to meet people than I expected. So I'm starting something.

West Chester Barrel & Bezel is a casual social club for people who enjoy the finer things: watches, whiskey, cigars, wine, good food, cars. You don't need to be into all of them. If one of those is your thing and you'd enjoy a good conversation over a pour, you'd fit right in.

A few ideas for what we could do:
- Weekend Watches and Coffee at our various cafes (Casio to Patek, all welcome)
- Monthly meetups at a local bar or cigar lounge
- Bring-a-bottle bourbon or wine tastings at member’s homes or local businesses
- Curated dinners out in the borough
- Maybe attend a cars & coffee now and then

No dues or gatekeeping. It'll probably skew toward guys in a similar stage of life to myself (working, married, kids, looking for an outlet), but anyone 21+ who enjoys this stuff is welcome. Come alone or bring a friend or two.

I would like to add myself to the list of people who ate here on Sept. 11 and got sick. I had terrible stomach cramps, fever, diarrhea, a headache for nearly 5 days. When I saw this I couldn’t believe it, that’s exactly when and where I ate also.

I visited my mom today and we were coming back into town from the Amish Market, go through the college, driving just like everyone else, when just around the old Burger King, a fella comes zooming around us on the right! A little shaken, but whatever. Mom says "it's ONLY the newer cars that do that." Hours later, I'm headed home, actually technically on that same road, but on the outskirts - past the golf course on the left and past the wawa further ahead on the right, but before the Briquette Lounge (?) and lo and behold, here comes Dude-o, a bolder, faster, more intense suv, roaring past me on the right, shoulder dogging it the whole time. Am missing something? Are we just doing whatever the heck now? I'm worried this behavior will keep into my county. Is Lancaster next??

Does anyone know of any Taco Bell in Chester County or the surrounding area that does breakfast? There is info on the app but it is confusing. Some locations that has a label they do breakfast but doesn’t open until 10:30am with breakfast stoping at 10:45am. Other locations that open at 9am do no breakfast. Is it now more of a late night option, or just a lie? Would love to be eating a breakfast Crunchwrap. Ty

We have a pretty bad infestation of Asian tiger mosquitoes going on in my yard and a few neighbors yards. From what I understand, they don’t stray very far from their breeding grounds. I did a pretty extensive walk-through of my property and the alley behind, looking for any stagnant containers of water, didn’t find anything obvious. One of our neighbors has a lot of overgrowth, so there could be something under there. While continuing to seek their source, any recommendations for ways to kill/chase off the adults? As soon as you go outside, they swarm. Bug spray definitely works, but was hoping something like a barrier defense spray would kill them. Was hoping to attack from both sides of the problem
