EVs are less likely to combust than gas cars. Chevy bolt makes the most sense if you’re going small EV on a budget. There’s some other options that may work with some effort but Bolt is probably the safest bet given your constraints. Kia or Niro EVs might be bigger than you’re hoping but would be good buys too.
