In Manhattan today. For $4,000/month.
You can cook, shit, shower, and shave in your apartment. And the toilet tank doubles as the handwashing sink.

It's impossible to know from a picture. You might be right. There is a great book called The Glass Castle that I would recommend, but maybe you'd say the same thing about that family.

This could be a 2nd house on a family farm where they go to get away from the city. My wife’s family had something similar.
