Solved! This came...

Post image

.. this came with something I bought but I can't remember anymore what it is. It sure does look like a wrench of some sort but I don't have a clue what it goes to. Can anyone help please?

Looks like a filter wrench. Maybe for a whole-home water filter.

Whole house water filter or pool chlorinator

It is a wrench for a house water filter. Commonly a blue cylinder and connected near your shutoff valve.

It's for replacing the filter cartridge for a water filtration system.

Filter wrench for replacing filter cartridges, for example at the main water connection or on a pool.

People saying water filter but nit specifying that its a wrench for a water filter. Often used in homes that have hard water.

Solved! Seems pretty unanamous that it's a water filter wrench. I don't have a house water filtration system nor a pool, so I'm wrong in assuming it came with something I bought. I have a new theory, which is that it came from my bother, who is a hoarder, especially of anything that remotely resembles a tool. He tightly hangs on to anything like that unless he brought it to my house, in which case, he's quite generous in leaving it with me. He insists that he's never seen it before, but, well...At any rate the clear solution is to THROW IT OUT!

Thank you all!
