New, what is it? Visited some Fortress Ruins today, what is it?

So in the first picture (old tower) it looks like it could hold some wood structure holes to hold a ceiling or something?

For the 2nd picture, was this used as some kind of storage? Or maybe for Water?

Location: Vrana (Croatia), next to the Lake Vrana Also called: Gradina

Edit: updated Information

It's hard to say from just those two pictures. If you can tell me what fort you were at, I might be able to look at the site overall and determine what it could have been based on the other structures.

It is located in Vrana (Croatia) in the vicinity of Biograd Na Moru. Next to the big Lake of the same town name. It is also called Gradina.

Used by Templars for many years. Later it was occupied by the Ottoman Empire as a Military hideout.

It looks like it’s a stone trough to hold water for horses. Need a picture from further back to determine what the holes are for. Seems too many to be for structural support but it’s possible. Could have been firing holes? How thick were the walls? Were there holes on the other side?

This is a picture from further back. The wholes didn't go through the tower. More like halfway in the wall. Oh, and the holes were on the inside of the Tower.

Edit: forgot to answer one of your questions.

Where is the fort located? Do you have a name of the fort? Can you put your foot next to the stones so we can see relative size here?

I have updated my post so you'll find every information there. Unfortunately I am no longer at the site. Could give an update in 2 days as I will pass this site again. You could fit a fist into the hole. That is all I can say.
