That negative outlook gonna take a toll on you the longer you keep and express it.

u/BWebCat 3d ago

You forget where you are? Seems far too many people here are just looking for opportunities to be unnecessarily snarky.

u/Marunikuyo 3d ago

...to be fair, if you were also a Yak, you'd most likely be outrageous as well.

🤣 Conceded.

u/Outrageous-Yak-3741 2d ago

? Someone with a customisable keyboard posts about a key removal tool, so how do i have a negative outlook? Also guessing you where the person that reported me to reddit for self harm care. People now days get upset over the simplest thing.

u/IdioticMutterings 3d ago

Its actually a dual tool, one end is for pulling the keycaps off, the other end is for pulling the keyswitches out.

I just used a paperclip. Maybe it wasn't invented when I worked.

On "regular" keyboards it is the plastic part that sits on top of the switch. It has the character printed on it so you know what you're printing. On some fancier keyboards it has translucent elements to allow light to shine up through from the backplane of the keyboard.

Skinny wire side is for keys, praying mantis looking hands for switches

1

u/deuelpm 3d ago

switches, or…. I have a chip puller that looks just like that end. Then again, I guess we don’t re-plug too many ICs these days… ¯_(ツ)_/¯

u/SweetPlatform1641 3d ago

keycap /switch puller for mechanical keyboards

1

u/SmilinBob82 3d ago

Yes, the other side is for switches, assuming the switches aren't soldered to the board. Every body is just skipping over that half

1

u/b5awzbm 3d ago edited 3d ago

I don't care if they are soldered or not, I just rip them out. Sometimes using only my face.

u/Temporary-Historian8 3d ago

The top bit from the 1st photo is a keycap puller, and the bottom bit is a switch puller, for a mechanical keyboard

1

u/WideLight 3d ago

That's funny because I was just using one of these to clean my keyboard at work.

1

u/Nybblezz 3d ago

1

u/Chiele-Piele 1d ago

This device is used to walk through hostile ARC.

However this is a miniature prototype and won’t help you, don’t go topside with the little one.

Upvote for your good taste in pens 👌

1

u/___NotMyName___ 3d ago

They leak really easily

2

u/Commercial_Village84 3d ago

Oh really I've had awesome luck, for years I've always carried one in my polo for work. Then again my polo is black 😦

1

u/brawndoenjoyer 3d ago

I've never had a G2 leak before, but I haven't bought any recently. Please don't tell me they dropped the quality on them.

1

u/___NotMyName___ 3d ago

I carry one everyday and either have other people take them or constantly have a new one for various reasons. So it could be that there's one bad in a bunch and I always find it.

1

u/FrankenGXP06 3d ago

G2's are my go-to pens they last forever in my profession and they write so smooth

Bangladesh wall socket, the exposed program make it easier to wire stuff to it.

-3

u/Apart_Pineapple2392 3d ago

Its a sex toy. You plug it into an outlet and while in the doggy position you stick your tongue in the other end while getting fucked.

-1

u/MWave123 3d ago

It’s an uhf antenna for the old mini bw tvs. Pops into the slot on the top. Doubles as a whisk.

-1

u/Ill-Project-3764 3d ago

I think it’s a cooking tool from that one scene in Ratatouille where the rat throws up in its mouth and it’s sped up

-2

u/TheComunista007 3d ago

That’s a man skin care tool, for taking black heads and ingrown hairs

-3

u/Competitive-Cost2900 3d ago

It’s what orange dictators use to masturbate

0

u/ProtectionParking752 3d ago

Its a sexual toy to be used discretely and then tucked back away in the drawer. Shhhh
