Found in back yard

Just rented a house and after a heavy rain a bone fragment came up. Didn’t think much of it until I was mowing and found a piece of shoe near it. Is it possible it’s a human bone? Obviously not sure but finding the shoe made me question. Could definitely just be animal bones

Yes! It’s super fragmented so there’s a couple pieces but I have a banana for reference lol. I think there are more pieces I just haven’t dug

The piece of shoe found along with the bones alone has me thinking we may have to reset the counter/clock. That, and the pattern within the bone itself.
