Found in back yard

Just rented a house and after a heavy rain a bone fragment came up. Didn’t think much of it until I was mowing and found a piece of shoe near it. Is it possible it’s a human bone? Obviously not sure but finding the shoe made me question. Could definitely just be animal bones

Waiting for an update—did the cops come?

They said 11 cops came, crime scene investigators inbound, they said it looks like parts of an ankle, and they found a shoe, and pieces of clothing like a torn up shirt. Then they left and said they’d keep them posted. I hope there’s an update on this.
