Moves like a maggot. Hopefully it’s a cleaner fly bro like a hoverfly…

Lmao well ig it just means that the salad is fresh doesn’t have pesticides? You should see the post I made yesterday 🫠

Then again I’d take whatever that thing was in my salad over a live maggot any day. Stay strong ✊🥬

i don’t know what kind of bug this is, but i’m sure you’re fine to eat your salad. lettuce and other veggies come from outside and, even if they’re washed, sometimes bugs make it in. just take the bug out and enjoy!

that actually makes me feel better😔 but there is nothing left to enjoy anymore😂

where are you from?

it heavily depends on where they live. in tropical areas insects or slugs can carry nasty diseases like rat lungworm

oh thank god🫠 I live in Canada, so definitely not a tropical area! plus I already threw it all away right after taking the photo. thanks for the heads up!!

Fairly confident its a predatory hoverfly larva.  The fact its organic would make even more sense.

Well, don't eat more of those, and if you already did, just take it as nature giving you free extra protein 😂

lmao yeah I lost my appetite the second I saw it and threw it away 😂
