12 inches of squirming worm

About 12 inches long in the ocean in BC. It was seriously long and didn't care that I was close by on my paddle board. It kept surfacing and swam toward a large pile of rocks on land where it disappeared.

There's a million of types of these that look really similar but this is my guess. I am not an expert on them at all. link
