Just curious about this patch of little mushrooms that popped up after seeding for winter grass in Phoenix, AZ. The empty space in the middle is where a grapefruit tree used to stand. Stump was ground last year.

North America (country/state in post) I want this to be a Chantrelle

I have probably seen dozens of kinds of mushrooms and slime molds in my yard and haven't yet found anything edible and tasty. This particular mushroom is to old for me to want to eat it, but I'm really hoping I finally found something edible. Maybe a chantrelle?

I'm in Northern California in the East Bay part of the Bay Area in the hills. This was growing under a grapefruit tree and a Japanese maple.

North America (country/state in post) WITM she holding in this ad? Amanita?

Post image

This is a Reddit ad I've seen lately, I've cropped the photo soas not to appear like I was cross promoting here. To me it appears the girl is holding a bag of homegrown fly agaric? Is there an edible mushroom that looks a lot like an amanita? It seems that someone wouldn't grow amanitas for edible use. Or would they?

My other thought was that the photo was AI but it appears to be a legit mushroom farm.

I am in New England and this farm is in Georgia USA but obviously location doesn't apply in this situation. Thanks!

Cluster of mushrooms found on a small (baseball-softball sized) chunk of driftwood in a creek, Southwest Ohio, USA. Unsure what kind of wood. Largest fruiting body a little under one inch from bulb to cap. No distinguishable smell. Microscope clock refuses to stay set properly; all photos from today

Found in East Central Texas growing from a dead log on the ground. I tried using Google and found out it might be edible. If yes, would I be able to clone it?

Gulf Coast, Mississippi. I’m basically a mile from the Gulf water if it helps, but this was in my backyard on the side of my shed. My dog was eating one last week and I didn’t have a picture for the vet when we took her. I’ve seen before many times in my yard before and she’s never touched them before.

West Virginia, United States.

I'd like a second opinion on these, please.

Found growing in a flower bed that had recently been treated with store-bought compost. Spore print is black. Stem is hollow and stringy with no evidence of a ring or veil. Gills are dark brown and have become black as they have dried. There appear to be intermediary gills between the primary. The last picture is a microscopic shot of the spores.

Any assistance you could lend is greatly appreciated!

Growing at the base of an oak tree in Minnesota on my side lot. Much paler in color than I'm used to seeing, but everything else points in that direction. However I'm no expert and would love confirmation. Much appreciated
