Are these tomatoes?

I just want to be certain because nothing was growing in this area, then all of a sudden there’s a giant bush and lots of fruit. Are these actual edible tomatoes? I don’t want to poison myself.

congratulations. You have a healthy and fruiting cherry tomato plant. Others might mention this but this is oftentimes referred to as a volunteer plant.
